Dr. Emmanuel Kipkosgei is a dedicated dental surgeon and clinical leader committed to improving access to quality oral health care throughout Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and serves as the Dental Officer in Charge of the PCEA Chogoria Hospital Dental Unit, where he provides comprehensive care to both inpatients and outpatients while leading the continued development of the hospital’s dental services.
Dr. Kipkosgei is playing an important role in strengthening clinical services, introducing modern approaches to dental care, and expanding oral health outreach to rural and underserved communities. He works closely with local and international partners, including the Kenya Oral Health Initiative (KOHI), to organize dental outreach programs, free dental camps, and preventive oral health initiatives that bring essential services to communities with limited access to care.
A strong believer in the power of prevention and education, Dr. Kipkosgei integrates oral health education into his clinical and community work. He is passionate about empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain good oral health and prevent dental disease.
Through his leadership at PCEA Chogoria Hospital and his partnership with KOHI, Dr. Kipkosgei is helping build a sustainable model of oral health care that combines clinical excellence, prevention, education, service, and community impact.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys gardening, reading, and participating in initiatives that contribute to the holistic development and well-being of communities.
