Jessica Gastecki, RDH

Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist with many years of experience and a deep passion for helping others through the gift of dentistry. Her love for working with children has always been a meaningful part of her career. She believes that every child deserves access to compassionate dental care, the opportunity to learn about healthy habits, and a positive experience that helps them feel confident about taking care of their smile.

Jessica first travelled to Kenya with KOHI in 2024, an experience that left a lasting impression on her heart. Being able to use her skills to care for children who may not otherwise have access to dental services showed her just how powerful dentistry can be—not only in improving a child’s oral health, but also in building confidence, relieving discomfort, and creating a brighter future.

She especially loves working with youth because of their resilience, joy, and ability to find happiness in the simplest moments. Jessica feels incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with children, care for their dental needs, educate them about oral health, and let them know that they are valued and cared for.

Her experience in Kenya has strengthened her passion for service and reminded her why she chose dentistry in the first place: to make a difference in people’s lives. Jessica is honored to volunteer with KOHI and is excited to continue returning to Kenya, sharing her time and talents, and making a lasting impact on children and families for many years to come.
